The ageless question of - "Are you a dog person or a cat person?" has been asked countless times by countless people, as if every person can only be one or the other. While we don't think you really have to choose between the two awwdorable animals, we do believe that the answers people might supply to that question can tell a lot about them, especially when it comes to cats. For example - when someone says "I don't like cats, they are not as friendly as dogs" or even "Cats are unpredictable, they scratch you when you try to touch them", we might presume that that person doesn't have enough patience to win over a little kitten's heart, or doesn't have respect for personal boundaries. If you ever owned a cat you know how wonderful it feels when a cat trusts you and shows you love, but it is something you most likely will have to earn. And that is just one of many lessons that cats might teach you.

I can tell their mood and wants based on their behaviour. Someone who hasn't had cats won't understand, which is why they might think cats are aggressive or standoffish.
